This opener is compatible with most major brands of garage door openers. It comes with a 9V battery.

AS SOMEONE ELSE POINTED OUT, AFTER THE PROGRAMMING, IN ORDER TO MOUNT THE KEYPAD, ONE MUST BOTH TAKE OFF THE SLIDING COVER AND TAKE OFF THE SEPARATE BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER (WHICH SCREWS ON WITH A TINY SCREW) TO FIND THE HOLES TO PUT THE MOUNTING SCREWS
