The Pneumatic Reversing Safety Edge Kit from Action Industries is the perfect security garage door opener kit features pneumatic reversing safety edge that provides additional security precaution functions. Compatible with both 2 and 3 wire operators. A pneumatic sensing edge is a pressurized air chamber (the gum hose) which fits inside the existing bottom seal of your door. When the pressurized chamber makes contact with an obstruction, the displaced air is sent to the air switch which is connected to the operator. The air switch then sends a signal through coil cord to the operator. The operator then reverses direction, or stops, depending on the make and model of the door operator.
